High frequency sampling is key to the analysis of microplastics collected by the multiple methods we employ. Through dyeing with Nile Red/Acetone solutions we can successfully identify microplastics from collected samples. 

Neuston net tows are utilized to collect surface microplastic and seagrass samples throughout Tampa Bay.
